Improved

We’ve given our CSV exports a makeover to provide clearer, more accurate data:

  • New “fee_asset” column: Easily see which asset was used to pay for transaction fees.

  • Replaced “is_received” with “label”: Quickly identify whether a transaction is “sent” or “received.”

  • Reordered columns: Follow our new layout (per your feedback) for a cleaner, more intuitive CSV.

  • No more “undefined”: Native assets like ETH now display correctly, without confusing labels.

  • Simplified fees: Fee information is hidden for received transactions—because you don’t pay any fees when you’re receiving.

Enjoy a more streamlined CSV export experience, try it out now!
As always, keep the feedback coming! ❤️

Improved

Transaction Fees on Display

We heard you! Our transaction details now include the exact fee you paid in ETH, so you can always keep an eye on the real cost of doing business on-chain.

Full Token Names

No more guesswork—every transaction now displays the complete token name (e.g., Rocket Pool instead of just RPL) to help you quickly recognize what’s moving where.

Take Control with Pagination

For wallets overflowing with activity, we’ve added pagination to make it a breeze to navigate your transaction history. Jump between pages and find exactly the transactions you’re looking for, faster than ever.

Check it out, and as always, drop us feedback if you have any suggestions!

New

Improved

We’ve introduced transaction type labels for every transaction in your wallet activity view.

Each transaction now clearly indicates whether you Received NATIVE, Sent NFT (ERC721), or Received FUNGIBLE (ERC20)—and so on—making it easier to understand exactly what happened in your wallet at a glance.

This improvement should save you time and increase clarity when scanning through your transaction history. Happy tracking!

Btw, we also supercharged the processing of transactions while we were at it, and, now your wallet transactions load much quicker. Enjoy the speed boost!

New

Cryptocurrency transactions can be dizzying—strings of addresses, complicated tokens, and sometimes confusing transaction types. We believe that viewing and understanding your wallet history should be effortless. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the new and improved Chainfolio transaction display. Gone are the days of puzzling over complicated tables and hidden details. Now, you can see exactly what’s happening in your wallet at a glance.

What’s Changed? (And Why It Matters)

1. Clear Status Indicators

The new display highlights whether a transaction was Sent or Received. Quick, color-coded labels immediately let you know if tokens left or entered your wallet. This simple change removes guesswork and helps you stay on top of your portfolio flows.

2. Simplified, Readable Wallet Addresses

Where we used to show long Ethereum addresses in full, we now abbreviate them for a cleaner look. Hovering over (or clicking on) the shortened address still reveals the full string, so you don’t lose any information. It’s the best of both worlds: clarity and detail when you need it.

3. Expanded, Intuitive Layout

Each transaction now appears in an easy-to-read card format (or simplified row). Rather than cramming all details into a single line, we’ve split the information into logical sections:

  • Token type & amount (with the USD conversion when available)

  • From address → To address

  • Exact date & time (shown in your local time zone or UTC)

This approach makes it immediately clear what happened, when it happened, and who was involved.

4. User-Focused Details

The best part? We polled our users. We asked what they wanted to see, how they read blockchain data, and how they prefer to manage multiple tokens. The result: an interface that surfaces the most important details without drowning you in extra noise.

Ready to explore? Head over to Chainfolio (chainfolio.io) and type in your wallet address (or ENS name). See for yourself how our updated, user-friendly transaction view can help you keep track of your crypto journey—no stress, no confusion, just clarity.

New

You can now input an ENS or related domain name (e.g., vitalik.eth, sassal.eth) directly instead of a wallet address!

Example: Vitalik Buterin’s Transactions on Ethereum

ENS Domains is supported on the following chains:

  • ETH (Ethereum): Fully supported (ENS is an Ethereum-based protocol)

  • ARB (Arbitrum): Supported (Arbitrum uses Ethereum-based infrastructure)

  • OP (Optimism): Supported (Optimism supports ENS resolution)

  • POL (Polygon): Supported (ENS is deployed on Polygon Mainnet)

  • BASE: Supported (ENS has been confirmed to work on Coinbase's Base chain)

  • GNO (Gnosis): Supported (ENS is supported via its Ethereum compatibility)

This update simplifies the process of finding transaction histories for wallets tied to well-known domain names, making the platform more accessible and user-friendly. As always, please share your thoughts on this feature and any other improvements you’d like to see.
